Quality Guarantee & Customer Happiness Policy

At Tokyo Tees, we want you to be absolutely thrilled with your gear!

We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every product we create. If something’s off, we’re here to help.

Our Made-to-Order Promise

Every Tokyo Tee is custom printed for each order. Since each item is made especially for you, we focus our guarantee on quality, craftsmanship, and getting your order perfect.

What We Cover – Our Happiness Guarantee

Quality Issues, Misprints, or Defects
If your Tokyo Tee arrives with any quality issues, misprints, defects, or damage, we’ll make it right immediately. You have 30 days from delivery to contact us.

What to do:

  • Email us at support@tokyo-tees.com with your order number
  • Include clear photos of the issue
  • Describe what you’re experiencing

Our response:

  • We’ll review your case within 1–2 business days
  • If approved, we’ll provide either:
    • A replacement at no cost, or
    • A full refund back to your original payment method

Size Exchanges

Need a different size? Exchanges are also accepted within 30 days of delivery, with a few simple guidelines:

  1. Initiate the Return
    Email us at support@tokyo-tees.com with your order number and request.
  2. Prepare the Item
    Must be unworn, unwashed, and in original packaging
    Include the packing slip
  3. Return Shipping
    You’ll cover the return shipping cost and any duties or taxes
    Provide a tracking number
  4. New Size Sent
    Once we receive your tracking number or returned item, we’ll ship out your new tee in the corrected size.

(Do not ship items to us without return authorization. We’ll confirm the correct return address with you by email before you ship anything back.)

Need to Cancel?

Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours by emailing support@tokyo-tees.com. After that, products are already in production.

Order Hasn’t Arrived?

If your tees don’t arrive within 7 business days after the estimated delivery date, please reach out to us right away and we’ll investigate.

What We Don’t Cover

Since each Tokyo Tee is made-to-order:

  • Change of heart purchases
  • Items that have been worn or used

That said: We’re humans talking to humans. If there’s a genuine issue or concern, reach out to us. We review each situation individually and often find ways to help beyond our standard policy.

How Long Does Everything Take?

  • Quality Issue Reviews: 1–2 business days
  • Replacements: 2–3 business days to print, plus shipping time
  • Refunds: Initiated within 2 business days; depending on your bank, it may take up to 10 business days for the credit to appear in your account

Our Philosophy

We built Tokyo Tees on quality, not quantity. We’d rather make fewer customers extremely happy than many customers just “okay.” If something’s wrong, we want to know about it so we can fix it and improve our process.
